How To Stake $KDA with $BABE in Zelcore

Thanos just dropped a new dApp on the Kadena blockchain that allows you to stake your $KDA for $BABE tokens as rewards!

How to Stake your $KDA with Babena on Zelcore:

KEEP IN MIND YOU MUST BE ON A LAPTOP/COMPUTER TO DO STAKE UNTIL MORE WALLET OPTIONS RELEASE!

If you are using Chrome Browser follow steps below:

1. Turn on a laptop/computer and open + sign into Zelcore
2. Send $KDA you want to stake to Chain 3
3. Click the Chain button at the top right of Zelcore and make sure “Status” is on and the port is 9467
4. Go to the Babena staking site
5. At the top right, click “Connect Wallet”
6. Paste in your k:______ account into the text box
7. Click “Activate Signing”
8. Click “Update”
9. Scroll down and choose how much $KDA you want to stake and how long to stake it for
10. Click “Lock KDA”
11. Go to Zelcore and click “Sign and Send”
12. Wait a few minutes and you should see your $KDA lock under “My KDA Locks” with the unlock date and pending rewards in $BABE token

If you are using Brave Browser follow steps below:

1. Download Brave browser on your laptop/computer
2. In Brave, type in brave://adblock in your search-bar
3. Scroll down to “Custom Filters”
4. Enter the following into Custom Filters:
   @@127.0.0.1:9467
   127.0.0.1:9467
   :9467
5. Open + sign into Zelcore
6. Send $KDA you want to stake to Chain 3
7. Click the Chain button at the top right of Zelcore and make sure “Status” is on and the port is 9467
8. Go to the Babena staking site
9. At the top right, click “Connect Wallet”
10. Paste in your k:______ account into the text box
11. Click “Activate Signing”
12. Click “Update”
13. Scroll down and choose how much $KDA you want to stake and how long to stake it for
14. Click “Lock KDA”
15. Go to Zelcore and click “Sign and Send”
16. Wait a few minutes and you should see your $KDA lock under “My KDA Locks” with the unlock date and pending rewards in $BABE token
